Tricia Mattson from the Riverview
Yacht Club
in Toledo Ohio was proud to tell us that she was only the
eighth woman ever allowed membership in their club and was happy
to make this burgee exchange with NYC. Vice Commodore Terry Wells
did the honors. Tricia and friends Kevin, Fred and Candy Powell
partied with us at NYC after the first race of the Wahine Series.
The Riverview YC

Tahiti Yacht Club Burgee
is in the house!
Commodore Bruce Heckman
did the honors and made this exchange with NYC member
Albert Smith
who has just relocated from Maui to Kauai. Albert wants to
complete this exchange by personally delivering our NYC burgee to
the Tahiti Yacht Club. Wouldn't that be NICE? We couldn't find a
website but
The Blue Water Rally folks had some very nice things to say
about the Tahiti Yacht Club and there are some lovely photos as
well. |

NYC Burgee lives on Fire Island, New
York
at the SALTAIRE YACHT CLUB
thanks to the efforts of Peter Patterson. It was kind of a
mystery exchange done by someone ??? at NYC who was working at the
clubhouse. We didn't get a picture of the actual exchange so Peter
was kind enough to send this picture and Sharon filled in the
missing pieces (click on the picture to see what we mean). Visit
the Saltaire Yacht Club HERE. It
looks like our kind of club; low key and lots of fun. |

colder. Their next race is called the Frostbite Regatta. Take a
